Recruitment Options

Option #1: Advanced Placement (nurses only)

This option provides clients the opportunity to contract one to ten nurses in advance to be recruited by HealthStar. Under this plan, nurses arrive in 12-24 months. At the time of arrival, nurses are placed on contract with the client on an hourly rate for 18 months. After that time period, the nurses are hirable directly by the client. Clients do have the option of canceling the contract at any time with a proper 30-day notice. Clients are also given a 45-day notice before nurse arrival, giving a 15-day option period to decide if the nurse is still needed. However, only a limited number of advanced placement contract nurses are available.

 

Option #2: Flat Fee Permanent Placement (nurses and therapists)

For a flat fee, clients can sponsor five or more nurses or therapists under an EB-3 Immigrant Visa (H-1b Visas can also be used for therapists only). For the flat fee permanent placement, the client acts as the sole sponsor for the visa and the nurse is directly hired by the client. Under this option, nurses and therapists are committed for three years of employment.

 

Option #3: Full Recruitment Trips (nurses and therapists)

If clients seek a large number of nurses or therapists (20+), the best and most cost effective method is the full recruitment trip. This option allows the client to interview all candidates face-to-face and select the ones most suitable to the client’s needs. HealthStar makes all arrangements for the trip and provides a knowledgeable representative to travel with the client. The trip typically takes seven to ten days and clients can expect to interview 50 to 75 qualified candidates during this time. More interview candidates can be made available if the client agrees to travel to an additional location. Post-travel, HealthStar processes all paperwork for the visa and proper licenses.
